In the Book of Genesis God presented a new creation to Adam for him to name it. Sometimes I sit back and think "How did He come up with some of these names?" Lets take a deep dive into some of the silliest names of Animals. There is a fish named boop boops, platypus, armadillo, boobies, wobbegong just to name a few. I wonder if Adam was just messing with God sometimes, just to see if he would let it actually be named such things. In return I think God might have been messing with Adam at times just to see if he could come up with a name for this crazy looking thing I just made. Could you imagine the Arch Angels standing around watching God create these creatures and you have to tell The Father it's an amazing creation, He's The Father and Creator. Later on in the Angelic break room they are all giggling at the humor of a platypus. Michael looking at Gabriel and saying "Did you see that thing?" These are the silly things that enter my head at times. Too many people perceive Christianity or interactions with God have to be completely professional and sounding like a Shakespearian Play. Everyone speaking in perfect Old English and dressed in formal wear. I think this is what might push some away from a relationship with God and Jesus at times. I don't remember anything in The Bible about making an appointment with God and be in your best suit to appear before Him. God and Jesus tell you to come as you are. Bring only your Faith and Belief in The Lord with you. No possessions on this earth will impress them or change the way you are Loved by The Father and The Son. No works that you do on this earth change anything either. What I mean is you can donate to charity, feed the hungry, help the homeless, help all those in need, but without a true belief that Jesus is the Son of God and that He gave his Blood to wash you clean of your Sins, you will still not be allowed to enter Heaven. John 3:16 states "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." This is may be the most prolific statement in the Bible. You want a blueprint to eternal life, here you go. It really is that simple. Talk to God and Jesus at all times, ask questions, express your feelings, let them into your hearts and see where you are taken. Keep in mind the answer you receive probably won't be the one you were wanting so you must be open to everything. God's plan for you was put into motion before you took your first beath, and it is a Perfect Plan. Remember, Life is a Journey, full of obstacles and choices. When you are on this Journey God is with you, every step of the way, watching over you, loving and caring for you, even if you don't know it yet. Be thankful and Pray to God, tell Him how grateful you are for it all.
