We Are Imperfectly Perfect...

I have used this phrase in my life for a little while now.  I think it describes all people at all times in their lives.  It's not meant to be an insult or belittle anyone, but to be a simple encouragement.  This past Sunday Amy and I were sitting in church and our Pastor Adam touched on this phrase.  I will give you my interpretation of what I heard in my heart at that moment.  We are all an Imperfect person being shaped and molded by A Perfect God.  Every day we are shaped and molded by A Perfect God, rounding our rough edges and corners off of our Imperfect selves.  See none of us will ever be Perfect in our sense, but in Gods eyes we are.  There was only one Perfect Man in this world, He was and is Jesus Christ.  Only because of what Jesus did for us on that Cross are we able to be seen as Flawless in God's Eyes.  When God looks at us he sees Jesus, no matter how Imperfect we may actually be.  God Loves us unconditionally, He is slow to Anger, Quick to Forgive.  There is something happening in this world right now, all you have to do is take a look around.  It is not too late to go to God and ask for forgiveness, Repent of your Sins, and accept Jesus into your life, but time is running short.  Time is the one thing in life that you will never have too much of.  I have learned that lesson the hard way more than once.  You never know what waits around the corner, illness, car accident, botched surgery, squirrel mauling, anything.  Please if you haven't accepted Jesus into your life don't wait any longer.  God's Grace is given freely and you have nothing to be ashamed of.  The Blood of Jesus washed us all clean of our Sins, now run to The Father and change your life.  Remember we are all Imperfect, but our lives are constantly being reshaped by A Perfect Father.
